NatNatt: I hope you tell the person with the 3 pound yorkie to get her spayed. Yorkies under 5 pounds should never be bred. I'm not a breeder and even I know that. This woman needs to understand that she is harming her small yorkie by breeding her. IF the yorkie even makes it through a pregnancy, she could end up with a shattered pelvis at best from the size of the puppies. Especially if the boy is bigger than she is (full grown).

Also, your boy should be neutered. He will feel so much better without his hormones raging every time a female in heat is around. Plus, he will be less likely to mark in your home.

There is no reason a "normal" person should be breeding their pup, no matter what breed it is. Breeders know what they're doing after years of research, and even then things can go wrong.

As Bob Barker would say: "Help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered."
