I had an accidental breeding with a red poodle I was taking care of once. Lucky, and he got lucky, was a dear boy, he stayed in my familyroom with a Yorkie girl, Tessa. I never saw a breeding, I never saw any signs of heat..9 weeks later I saw two light red, orange pups come out of her.
I beat myself up over it...then at Mattaponi dog show, the President of our Yorkieclub had a pen set up with some pups in it..they were obviously not purebred anything..she said they were her accidental breeding between her Yorkie and Shih Tzu..I told her about my "Porkies" ..it happens. Lucky's owner told me whenever he turned the corner to come up my street, Lucky went bonkers! Lucky never got the pleasure of being near my girls again.

It happens to some mighty reputable people..over and over is another story.
