Can anyone imagine holding a dead puppy within hours you are on a thread like this trying to explain breeding her again?
Please spay her. I understand the miracle of life. I think we all do. But one must acknowledge the loss of life, the responsibility of life, all the "other things" associated with breeding. You were very lucky you didn't loose your bitch that time. Reading your replies hurt me. I think you just missed all of this. Nobody is out to make you a bad person. You aren't "doing right" by your "new mama". Neither of you are ready for this. If you want to be a breeder, there's ways to go about it. But she is not the answer. It doesn't matter if you don't sell any of her babies, don't register them or anything else as you stated. Breeding is breeding and you put her life in danger. Please spay her. She is too small to breed.
I'd need proof that an emergency vet gave advice to anyone that isn't a patient. What breed did you breed her with? This was left out, wasn't it? |
