They make this stuff called Stitch Witchery. It's really awesome and does the hemming for you. All you do is cut off the length you need, put it on what you need hemming, fold the cloth over to the desired length and iron for 10 seconds. It is awesome. Really awesome.
I made Fynnlie a dog bed and made a cover for his carrier pad usint Stitch Witchery. I fail at hand sewing and using the machine!
