Miko was really hypoglycemic when we got him and on top of that he was a very picky eater. We fed him boiled chicken and plain white rice with no seasoning and/or baby food. For baby food we fed him his favorites which were pureed chicken or chicken and rice. We fed him the two of those primarily because it includes protein and the one with rice also has carbs. The veggies alone don't provide what he would need nutritionally speaking. Although premium dog food is optimal, if you're in a bind, or you have a finicky eater, you can get them to eat by giving them that. Good luck. |
