I know LD works for our adult clients... but how is LD with a puppy? Anyone had experience with that?
When Lucy had elevated BAT's at about 16 weeks - my vet did not want to lower her protein to the point where she was on a low protein food. I did cut out the protein treats and searched for a medium protein food. I ended up with Wellness Limited Ingredient with 20% protein ~ and he wasn't thrilled with that because he felt that puppies need protein but he went along with it. He wanted nothing lower at that point.

Now whether that's right or wrong, who knows? But at that time, she wasn't really having many symptoms.

I've since instituted some further protein restriction to where her breakfast is NB Vegetarian - but she is almost a year old now. She still gets Wellness Limited for dinner - mixed with some canned chicken because she is able to tolerate chicken (as opposed to beef, liver, lamb . . .)
