I bought the Dyson, but ended up taking it back. For the price, it didn't pick up any better than the hoover.
I finally ended up with an Oreck that I love. Plus it has a 10 year warranty. I have to take it in once a year to have it professionally cleaned (free), but if I need it, I can bring it in once a month. The price of the bags is the biggest draw back, IMO. |
FYI....our Wal-mart has started carrying Orek bags. Think I paid about $7 for 3 bags.....much better than the Orek store - plus I didn't have to drive 45 minutes to get to Wal-mart.

I use a dust mop on my stained concrete floors. I've got an Orek and a Rainbow, but Razz likes chasing the dust mop....so, even though it's more work to use, it's more enjoyable watching him have fun
