Well it is not so great if you want to show your dog and have an infirmity .. I was told you could have a friend show for you.
I would love that the show ring accomadates those with infirmities, wheelchair etc. How-ever I did read somewhere that a blind man was allowed to have an "assistant" run with his dog, and he took over the stacking/examination part. Now I can't remember what club that was in.
In obedience I compete at venues that have at least one woman in a wheelchair competing with her papillon.
