Hi there,

Harley only get's outside every 2-3 days I live in a huge apartment building with a crazy amount of construction going on in our area, it's just not very safe out there at the moment (on weekends when we're not working we drive him places and play outside for longer periods). Now that being said we have a huge apartment and he's only 3lbs. We do lots of fetch in the house... and my boyfriend will briefly a few times a day play this chase game with him, where he runs back and fourth between rooms crying like an idiot and Harley follows at a mad tear barking at him.. it's priceless to watch.

He also has his own room, which is actually the master bedroom, (ok yes I gave my dog the master, it kinda just happened, who needs a huge room to just sleep in anyway right?) So I have tunnels and toys and he has the room to himself in the day time. Then he's free to follow us around the rest of the night. He gets random bursts of energy (which I've heard called Zoomies on here) and that burns most of his energy. It's nothing for me to walk by his room when leaving for work, and him tearing around like a race car...

My point being if you can't walk often, or the weather sucks, just make sure the indoor play is more than just sitting on the couch and throwing a ball. I have a hard time keeping weight on Harley cause he's so darn active.
