LOL, God love you for making you wife so happy, and as long as she is happy you are happy "right" LOL.
I think hubby and i are having a competention on motorcycles and yorkies....I have 7 yorkies and he has 5 or 6 motorcycles LOL. But he is also in the same boat as you cause i rarley go riding with him anymore, #1 reason is the dog's and #2 reason is because i had back surgery last year. So I feel your pain cause I see the same thing with my hubby. Nice to know there are understanding hubbies out there though.
