My yorkies received their first rabies shot at 6 months old.. Then it is annually from then on.... I recently got the 3 year rabies shot for my yorkies who were due. The only reaction some of them have is the "bump" on their side for awhile.... a few of them have permanant circles that can be seen if you look closely when their hair is cut real short.
I tend to agree that the "shots" that are "required" seem to effect these little ones way too much....
