WELCOME TO YT!!! I commend you for coming on and finding us before making a purchase. There is just so much to learn and this is the place to do it!!

I'm glad to see you're open to rescues, there are so many out there that deserve a second chance at a happy life. You can also find great information here about what to look for in a breeder. Someone local, who doesn't sell "teacup" yorkies or mixed breeds, as well as what questions to ask. There are also lots of threads you should read as a prospective puppy parent. They go in detail as to what to look out for. It's great you have the time to sort these things out. If you need help with anything, feel free to ask and anyone will help.

This was one of my reasons for searching for a yorkie. Turns out, I'm allergic to my baby! Oh well... he's the light of my life and I love him to bits. So he makes me sneeze everyday, it's not as bad as how cats and shedding dogs make me feel. He's totally worth it.
