Lots of you asked about Potty training. Potty training is actually going ok. He is a boy, so he does occasionally make little pees around the house if we play w/ him too long, but when he's in his room (the bathroom - we have a nice step over gate so we can keep an eye on him) he goes on the puppy pad EVERY TIME! He does really really good! He also recently started to "sit" and "fetch" pretty good, which is exciting!

Oh...and this is a little TMI, but I've noticed that when giving Bazinga a bath sometimes he has a little piece of poopy stuck in his hair on his booty. Ofc, I soak it and get it out, but does anyone else have this issue?

Liz821 - I just moved to GA from OH in May and am living in Alpharetta. That's cool that we live in the same town. We should get our little ones together for a play date at a park or something one time, after Bazinga finishes up his shots...I think he still has a few rounds to go. I heard that feeding canned food can be "addicting" so that's why I hadn't been feeding canned. I tried putting some dry food in his bowl last night, but he can't seem to keep it in his mouth. he just drops it while he tries to bite it...

Rhetts_mama - Also awesome that you live in Cumming. We should get our little ones together for a play date at a park or even at the lake out that way sometime. Bazinga's not totally done w/ his shots just yet though. And how totally neat is it that they share the same birthday! I love it!!!! haha. I think you're right about the steam mop...that may just be the way to go. I just don't feel right about using chemicals I don't know are safe for him on the floor (especially b/c of how short he is) but at the same time I don't see how that Paw Friendly stuff can kill any germs....do you recommend a brand?

gemy - thank you for the ear cleaning tips. My husband said he noticed that they smell a little, so I'm guessing I need to keep a better eye on them. Is it safe to use puppy wipes inside the ear??? Seems like the easiest way to me...

Thank you all again for this...I feel so welcome!!!
