On the bathing front, I've always wrapped my babies up in lots of towels after bath and cuddled with them close to my chest for a bit until they have stopped shaking, you can also keep part of your dog covered while you blow dry one part of him Also make sure you dry his ears well inside and out. Make sure you keep his ear canal clean and open. Sometimes that may mean you need to pluck the inside hairs. You can speak to your vet about this and get her to show you how if you are unsure about it.
Bath time is perfect time to check your baby all over. Also make sure to check his rear end, anus glands, there is something at times you might need to do, called expressing his glands, talk to your vet about this too.
Teeth and mouth: get your baby used to having his teeth looked at and touched. you can use your baby finger to just glide along his teeth for now. Look at the color of his gums, should be nice and pink and moist.

And Welcome to YT
