My Westie has bad skin allergies and takes Zyrtek when needed. He gets a whole tablet per the Vet; but my pharmacist cousin thinks that is a lot. He weighs about 15 lbs though. Benadryl never helped him much.
I also use 'Cortisoothe' Shampoo that I purchased from the Vet ~ which is supposed to help the skin condition.
I used to put some fish oil on his food and he loved it; but then he had some tummy issues so I quit.
