Cosmetic would be considered enhancements IMHO like a tail dock or ear crop. I believe the words you may wanted to have used would be a liveable fault. If the soundness of the dog is at all in question it should not be bred you can take up or down the ears, up or down the muzzle, correct body proportion, length of leg or body or coat when you take the best of both in a breeding pair, but you rarely can correct an unsound body structure.
