And then when they are lost there is no way to know whom they belong to and no way to know how to reach the owners. This is an ongoing issue with me. I'm a firm believe that they should all have a collar, tags, and be microchipped.
If you take notice the owners that have posted in the past about their Yorkies having run away/lost none had been wearing a collar. When my 3 got out they all had on collars and I had them home in less than an hour.
