Hmm...it depends...I usually wait to see how long b4 she's tired...I can be outside with lexi for 30mins usually. Every other day maybe an hour. I could swear to god she's tired but when we get home she still wants to play! =S
There are times where I felt like I was draggin her all the way home so I had to end up carrying her.

I did walk downtown for 3 hrs one time and she was fine and when we got home she just lay on the floor tired. Passed out eventually (for me sometimes a tired yorkie is a good thing) then I'll have time to do some house work =D

But everyone else is right. When u see your yorkie slowing down, tongue sticking out and wants to keep stopping you know they are tired!

Just try to keep the walk interesting...maybe 5 mins to explore every now and then. I make my yorkie jump on ledges, switch directions when I'm walking so that I know she's paying attention etc.

Doesn't matter how long just as long as you both enjoy urselves.
