SoSo, I think I kinda depends on how old your yorkie is, or how much care they've had if their a rescue. I have Pets Best Insurance for my Sprocket and because he needed many things, shots, neutering, teeth, basic wellness, (I'm a worry wort), I've used this policy many times and the customer service is very good, you can fax in your stuff or mail it, you always get a very helpful person on the phone, and they PAY OUT, also an important factor. Vets are so expensive, and though I haven't started to do travels with my baby yet we plan to start this summer and those visits while traveling, if needed would be covered too. But like I said, I'm a worry wort and new to dog, esp. yorkies, and the yearly premium wasn't that bad considering what I had done and what it would have cost. Oh it was recommended by my vet too. Good luck
