I've been dealing with urinary issues in Teddy since I bought him as a young puppy. My advice is that you ask your vet to do not only a urinalysis but a cultrue and sensitivity as well. In our case, Teddy was treated for a UTI with an antibiotic that did not cover the infection, he developed struvite crystals and a stone as a result, and we had to retreat him, put him on anti-inflammatory medication and flush his bladder, give him another medication called Uro-eze to change his bladder environment, and I'm hoping to god that on the 30th when he has his ultrasound that this issue is behind us.

So a word to the wise - get a culture and sensitivity done so you dont end up saving $100 only to spend ten times that or more. I've lose count on how much this is costing me.
