A few years ago Lil Bit brought a squirrel into the house!
I found her and one of the dachshunds (I had dachsie rescues at the time) playing tug of war with it.
Then last year she brought in TWO mice - she had killed them both - in her mouth, and she was so proud of the fact that she had caught them!
But, that is why the Yorkshire Terrier were kept in the Yorkshire mills, to keep down the rat population.
It is their instinct.
Actually on the squirrel we weren't sure whether it was Lil Bit or a dachsie that brought it in to the house, but as she was quicker than the dachsies we assumed it was her.
