Well yes I could give him 1/2 of a pill but them i'm giving him 2 extra weeks worth of meds. The box said that I should give him 1 pill every 12 hours, not 1/2 a pill. I didn't go to the vet for the meds, I just picked up his meds from the vet. I called because I already knew what was wrong. No it wasn't the wrong medicine but yes he was given the wrong dosage. I felt it was important for the vet to know what had happened.
This is a good reminder to double check all meds before administering.

This is a good reminder for everyone to look at your prescriptions and ask questions about how much/ how often before you leave your vets office. That goes for the pharmacy with your meds, too. |
