ID on a collar to me is fine, but if they are walking her on the collar, that is a deal breaker. Some places I've heard just don't do certain things. One I went to visit doesn't feed the dogs (no food allowed to avoid fights, but they do give meds), no toys, no walking, and I didn't see any water bowls out for any of the dogs. It's just their policy. I think you should review their policy with them the next time you go. |
That was my obversation to three different Vet. boarding. Left in the cage with a piddle pad, no water, no toys, no chewy, no blankie. They don't even take them out for walks. Cruel!!! I don't know about day care though. We do have one here in town, but the dogs are kept in outside runs that have ben like shelters in each run. Not good in my opinion. It must be difficult finding ideal boarding or day care.
