Jackson is 1.5yrs old and was never an "only dog" until last summer. He's MY only dog but we lived at home with my mom, stepdad, sister and their dog... but she passed away at the end of last summer. Jackson is a lot different by himself, he definitely sleeps alot more around the house and is more laidback by himself. However at the same time even when by himself he is still always up for a long walk, or a game of fetch outside so he's still fun when by himself
But when we go to my dads house with his fenced in big yard with an inground pool and 2 dogs... he's definitely alot more crazy and a ton more energy than usual! I hope to have a second dog at some point but currently in my life, I can't.
