I'm upset about this!
Mel has always been one of my favorite actors and biggest inspirations as a performer. but he is a LOUSY human being. and being drunk is not an excuse. Alcohol limits your inhabitions. It doesn't change who you are, it just shows who you REALLY are.
He is a bigot and a jerk. we wouldn't excuse this behavior from anyone else, why should it be excused because he's Mel Gibson? Yeah, he's absurdly talented. Talent doesn't make you a good person!
