i am just not understanding this. i live in an area where i see a lot of people walking their dogs everyday. and yes, i do see dog poop everyday, but it's like one or two different places when i go for a walk with milu, never consistent (location wise) and if i saw a sign like this in my neighborhood, i would be HIGHLY irritated. it's a very ugly sign. i would have wondered the same thing "is this person a dog hater"? |
No, it is not common for people in my neighborhood to leave dog poo in anyone's yard. There is a community area about 30 feet from this house that belongs to the city, between the street and sidewalk - a long, wide strip of grass. The city encourages the dogs to use this area and has a pole with dog poo bags and a trash can.
I am also not seeing dog poo in this yard or any signs of dead grass from urinating. So, really do not understand why this person has a sign, unless it is aimed at a neighbor of theirs, that lets their dogs run wild. Who knows? There must be some kind of problem. They are the talk of the dog walking people I meet, though.
