Default Accidental use of life vest

Dante (15 weeks old, 3 1/2 pounds) went poop outside (yah!). When he came in, he was trying to get to his rear. So I checked, and sure enough, he needed cleaning up. When I got a wet paper towel and tried to get to the mess to clean... he went nutso. Yipping and twisting and trying to bite me... Wow! I have always had long-haired dogs, so periodically having to clean up their rears isn't a big deal. But my Kerry Blue Terriers, tho they don't like it, just give over quickly and let me lift their tails and do what I have to do. Dante was NOT giving over, and I would have needed 6 hands to hold him safely while I cleaned. Hmmm... Remembered that when I put him in the oversize life vest I got him (Outward Hound), he seemed immobilized. So I velcroed him in... and voila - he wasn't happy, but he let me get him clean. Couldn't twist and turn and escape and bite.

So... if you need a little help for something like that... don't hesitate to use a life vest!
