I will say that I have seen some misinformation being espoused and it is important to make sure that ALL points of view are represented so the member with the concern is fully educated and can then be in a better position to make an intelligent decision. It is also important to make sure you cite your source or state that it is just an opinion or even relate a personal experience to help a situation.
I feel that the majority of people who have found this forum are not stupid, do not need to be treated like children, and be "protected", but rather, are smart enough to sift through the info presented and make good decisions.
I am also the eternal optimist so I rarely think thet someone is a "troll" or on here just to cause trouble...I mean what would be the point? I choose to believe in the good of others until we discover differently with valid evidence and even then, people make mistakes, and if someone admits a mistake, and apologizes, then I think they deserve our respect again. It is how any society operates.
I enjoy learning and I enjoy sharing the info and knowledge I acquire.
This board is a wealth of info and everyone on here has looked for anwers here at one time or another...plus, there is a wonderful sense of community and we are able to celebrate and discuss other issues besides yorkeis so that we actually have "internet friends"!!
