Cry

I read through all 3 pages of post. I was amazed at some but fine with most. The only people who should breed are those that understand all that it takes to breed (including the whelping, the dangers and the sleepless nights). These are the people who have taken the time to "learn" their breed and their dog.

Sadly I lost a little girl when she was about 6mos old because of a genetic defect. Her breeder owned a pair and bred them. When I got my registry papers I found out that the parents were related. They shared the same dad. She died from an enlarged liver shunt but she suffered multiple seizures before she died. We were at the vets every week to every 2 weeks. It took a few test to rule out what could be to what was the problem. The vet was talking about surgery when she died.

Now I have learned all the questions to ask and the paperwork to make them show me.
