In the days of harems, I think the Ottoman empire?. They put Eunuchs as guards we thought so that there would be no hanky panky with the ladies, but truthfully, some eunuchs could have lots of sex with them. Everybody knew though that any children conceived belonged solely to the Sultan as the eunuchs, without testicles could never ever father a child. Anyway that is one school of thought. just sayin.....
