I guess I am too new here to know what you mean. Very rarely have I noticed that there are "problems" in the threads. Every now and then people get defensive or testy, and part of that is the fault of the written word. Our language of our bodies is a major part of the interpretation of our words. You cannot really tell what a person is thinking while writing because there is no way to read their body language. Therefore it is a lot easier to have "misunderstandings".
For the most part, if there is a thread I do not agree with or it seems to be a hot button issue I prefer not to be drawn into, as you suggested, I simply do not respond. Overall I find that there are many people here who are much more experienced in yorkie care and management than I. I do not take their word as law, however, and will research on my own after taking the info into consideration.
I may be sticking my neck out here, but it appears to me that you have been offended by a thread or threads written by certain people, and I am sorry that happened to you. When you see a thread authored by these persons, you should probably just not go there. I see by your number of postings that you know there is a lot of fun and interesting info here, and you will probably find lots that you can still enjoy. Keep looking!
