I guess I am lost on how getting medical marijuana or pain pills through immoral means is being used to discuss if a dog should be taken into a non pet friendly hotel.

All the medical analogies aside, taking a pet into a No Pets allowed hotel COULD hurt the next guest. Anyone with severe allergies will agree.
