I did this too,, not long ago,, I know the guilt, I say keep it clean and as dry as you can, Im not a huge fan of neosporin on an open cut because its not water soluable and if bacteria is in the cut i cant get out but thats just my opinion I like it much more once a scab is over it because it does help with scars, but im a people DR not a vet, I cut my guy right under his eye, he was totally fine he only made a small noise but it did bleed like crazy, I think I was more upset than he was. keep it clean and keep an eye on it if it feels warm or looks infected seek vet help but I doubt it will if you keep it clean. |
