Hi. I don't think I have welcomed you to YT so, Welcome to YT.

I suggest you have your guy neutered.

I went through the same thing, wanting to let my girl have puppies. However, I started a little research and realized all the work that should be done prior to even considering breeding a dog, males AND females. There are blood tests, checking hips and knees, looking at lines of both dogs to be bred, full health check ups on my dog as well as past generations of her, and lots more I am sure I am forgetting. Believe me, it took me all of five minutes to decide it was not for me.

I am *VERY* thankful I decided against it not just b/c of ALL the work and expense that comes with breeding but my girl developed a genetic disorder that did not show up until she was almost 2 years old.
