Amazingly, once we started walking him daily, he didn't run anymore. He's such a companion to me. I do dialysis at home and he is so smart that when I'm just about through with treatment, he's usually telling me its time to get off. |
I swear our Yorkie gets cabin fever. In winter I don't take her with me it's to cold. A few times I opened the front door and she ran out the door. I decided to take her with me on a short errand after the car was warm and I didn't have to get out. She didn't run out the door again for awhile. Then she did it again, so I took her on another car ride and she was fine for awhile again. So I know I have to take her out with me once a week in winter because she needs it. It's so cold all she can do is potty and come right back in and that's not enough for her. So we go shopping!
