For Kaji there was loose skin around the area his family jewels would have been, but you say there is a hole? That worries me. If you're not sure, a quick call to the vet and let them know you're concerned. I had pain meds for Kaji, and honestly, for him they did more harm than good. Once the anesthesia wore off, he was back to his old self, and no sign of pain that I could tell. Just to be on the safe side, I gave him one pain pill. It made him crazy hyper! He barked, howled, growled at all the lights and shadows, he jumped up and down on his hind legs in his ex-pen, he was a totally different dog! I hope no one has those problems. I didn't know what to do, give him a pill to alleviate any possible pain, or not give him to keep him from jumping like a Mexican jumping bean.
