I loved those Petite size CET chews for Marcel - they really were the perfect size for him bc he has such a tiny mouth. But yup, I just can't give the Petites anymore. Maybe I would try it again if I held it in my hand the entire time, just to observe his chew pattern and see if he is able to bite
anything off of it at all etcetera.
If you do use the Petites, definitely take them away just as soon as it gets to a size that they could get into their mouth/throat. Also, if they *can* bite pieces off of the Petite size, I would really assess them the first couple times - make sure they are chewing the piece, not biting off the chunk and swallowing (as many dogs do).
Now, we're using the Medium size CET for all of them - bc these are bigger and Marcel can't even consume much of anything off of the Mediums. They're just too big for him, but he still gets to gnaw.
