I remember all my stuff going down almost every day from 1-5 in the afternoon and it took almost 2 months before a GOOD repair guy solved the problem - all the rest who came out never did fix it

I have a whine though - there's just too many channels these days ! It blows my mind ....I never flip thru the guide because it would take me days - but I bet MEN love it what is it about men and their remotes ? my (late) husband always held it and so does my dad ...he falls asleep with it in his hand and my poor mom (who just fractured her hip but out of the hospital thankfully) can't reach it when he does this

So true, and most of them are junk! I realized when you said this that I pay a lot of money for a ton of infomercial channels
About the pam and the rain, I don't think it would work because you aren't getting your signal due to cloud cover; it's not something blocking your dish like snow. Just a thought.
