am blessed to still have them and when they get this age it's like every late night call is a scare - I tell myself all the time how lucky I am to have such great living parents realizing so many don't have this luxury .....mine are 83 but it hurts your heart seeing the decline
mine is saying the same thing about having to rely on us but we keep plugging and she's making progress.....this whole month has just been a rollercoaster in so many ways
I'm sorry you lost your mom - i can tell you had to have been very very close.
