Could I do a better job than Ann? Probably not. But this is really not a good criterion for anyone's position. Could you do a better job than the President? Your dentist? Your bus driver? At the same time, that doesn't mean you must support everything they do without question.
Let me say again, I truly love and admire Ann. From what I know of her online, she is a terrific person, and I'm very greatful that she's here. I do not expect to agree with everything she does, and I don't expect to. That would be an impossible standard.
At the same time, I see some things here that truly bother me. When I started off here, sometimes I would see an argument go further than I thought it should or something, and thought, well, that's the moderation style, I can accept it. I now feel that there are some things that really don't seem right and so I've spoken up. If the mods and admin take my opinion into account, great. I would not expect that my voice thunders across YT, but if enough reasonable people start saying the same thing, maybe we can get a change.
I can also accept that maybe that won't happen, which is certainly YT's perogative.
