OMG - my Max, who is 3 yrs old, just started doing this about 6 months ago. He is hilarious!!! Hubby and I can't help but laugh... he will scratch with his back paws (one by one) - and then his front paws - and sometimes he does it sooo hard that he ends up turning himself half way around each time the other paw scratches!!  I wish I could get a video of him... it's just the funniest thing we've ever seen.
