Wow, I thought I would never get to the end of this thread. The only reason I came into this thread was to do some research on when it is best to deworm puppies for way into the future reference. Well, I must admit I have found a truck load of information. In between the arguments, I have learned some new terminology and have a whole list of definitions that I am going to look up and do some research on. I have book-marked several web sites, and have gotten great insight from what I know are great breeders. Before reading this thread, I thought deworming was something you were suppose to do before homing a puppy and was protocol. In the way far off future, I know I will not deworm without a positive result from a stool sample. I believe this practice goes back to "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!".
If there is no need for it, I feel it should not be done and will not be practiced by me. Anyway, thanks for all the great info.
