Thank you for being so open and honest in your post. It's so very hot here that I worry about the effect of the heat on my Yorkie. I've already lost one dog to the extreme temperature of a Texas summer in my lifetime and NEVER want to make that mistake again. That particular dog was also a "puller" and I learned too late that all I had to do to reduce the exertion was get a "no-pull" harness. Just imagine you and I hopping all the way to the corner!
You sound like a great Mom. No one is perfect and I'm so glad your story turned out to have a good outcome. These little animated dolls are such a delight and so worth the protective nature that is required to raise them. When I think how blessed I am to have this opportunity, I am skipping in a circle! |
