I'd like to see if she can do a system restore on her computer. It can restore the computer back to a point where the computer is more functional. At that point she may be able to install/run an antivirus program.
When you try to install the recovery disk. Do you turn the computer on with the disk already in it? That should allow the computer to boot up in recovery mode.
Worse case scenario is take it to best buy and have the geek squad look at it to see what they can do. I really think this can be fixed, but you need to be patient. |
hey patti - you can also start your computer in safe mode if you have a virus program already installed -
then you run the anti-virus program that you already have and see if it can pick up that nasty thing
