I just talked again with Patti. She cannot download anything...she has tried several times to download avg...it starts to download and then goes to porn sites. She also keeps getting a windows security alert that says application cannot be executed...your computer is infected. She also can't get into the add/remove program (control panel). She found a disc and was going to put that in and said she would lose everything on her computer, but she was willing to try. I told her to shut the computer off and we'll have to figure something out. I think she would probably be better off to just go buy a new computer. She's so upset and just keeps getting one porn site after another. It's weird how it wasn't until she clicked on the link in this thread, that her computer went to porn. Darn it anyway. She is not able to download anything...the virus stops her. I wonder where she got this virus. She says thanks to all who are trying to help. Anyone with any ideas, post in this thread and I'll pass it on to her tomorrow. Thanks all! |
