My Yorkie, Mickey, is 1 year, 3 mos. old. He has been a very healthy, happy dog, up until this past Tuesday. He truly has never been sick in the year that we've had him. He never has thrown up or had diarrhea. He is the 6th Yorkie I've owned in my life time, and he is by far the healthiest.
Anyway, on Tuesday, he was acting a little different. He still went on a walk, ate, etc, but seemed more tired than usual. At 11 pm, he started vomiting, and threw up about 5-6 times in an hour. He threw up his food and a white substance... I suspect now that he got into pancakes, which were left on the coffee table...He never eats people food.....
and the vet thought he had acid reflex and put him on Famotidine (after all kinds of tests). I hate giving my babies drugs, unless absolutely necessary, so I asked and asked everywhere for another solution.
I've been giving him 'Cocotherapy Oil' and would you believe it? We haven't been to the vet since April, about the time I started him on this oil. Mind you, we used to be at the vet at the very least once a month because of Nicky's throwing up all the time!
He and my girl aren't too crazy about the oil so I forget to give it to them once in a while and I've noticed that Nicky starts throwing up again (Weird). I have to pay attention to this since I'm just now connecting the dots as I read your post. I'll ask in a new thread to see if anyone has had the same thing happen with this oil.
