you have to be sooooo protected these days - I have a very good program I use now and one snuck by me recently and is in my memory - I've been going crazy trying to remove it - it's a bad one but I know how it happened and it was my own fault. I posted about it somewhere but man it sucks to have a messed up computer !
I'll fix it but my solution will probably have to be to back up everything to a hard drive which will take a long time with all the work I have accumalated over the years then re-format the whole computer - that's at least a day or 2 of work and I'm dreading it |
Apparently I have a malware problem right now. Just happened today (I'm on my hubby's work computer right now). All my computer-literate cousin could tell me is that it looks like I'll need to take it in somewhere to get cleaned up. Is that true?? I'm pretty sure he knows how to do it because he started to say that it's pretty complicated and then just told me I should take it somewhere. He doesn't live here in town though or else I would make him come over and fix it!!
I didn't even realize there was Malware protection (free) out there anywhere. I use AVG - the free version - and have never had any problems. That dang FACEBOOK probably gave me something!
If anyone knows something that he's not sharing with me, please speak up!
