She is doing much better now, just walking a little funny, kind of to the left. That could be permanent I am not sure yet. I am just thankful she is still here. The emergency vet gave her advantage, atleast thats what they told me. But it doesnt seem to repel fleas at all or help with it for that matter, I have given her a flea bath with the hartz shampoo but that didnt do much good. Thank you for everyones advice, and for all the warm welcomes. |
Hi there - you got some good advise already and I'm sorry for what she's going thru but I have to point out - PLEASE DON'T USE HARTZ !! That is a very toxic product to all dogs and cats even though sold everywhere - it's cheap and people use it but it's not a product you want to be using on a small dog that you love
There are other products you can use and LadyJ was right - if you have this bad of a flea problem they must be in the home and you want to get rid of them first there - on her - THEN use a monthly preventative that would keep them off her so she doesn't get sicker (and be miserable with the awful biting and itching)
Good luck - I have no advise about the medical issues but want to wish her all the best
