I can't believe I never came across this site before now. What great info. out there and looking at all the beautiful pics has me yearning for a puppy more than ever. |
I too am so sorry you lost your beloved companion. It mayhap have been awhile since you have purchased a dog. Please take the time to familiarize yourself with various threads about purchasing a puppy.
Make sure that you are comfortable with this breeder, before seeing the pups. All pups are so gorgeous and well the hole we have in our heart after losing a loved one is so big, that sometimes we leap before we look.
I'm not sure how to link threads or "stickies" so if you click on each forum on the top you will see the stickies.
From my heart to yours; Go with the breeder who does all the necessary health checks on their mating sires/dams. Go with the breeder who doesn't let their pups go prior 12weeks of age. Go with the breeder who will let you see sire and dam. Go with the breeder who has a health guarantee that is worth something. Do your research. BBB, Google this breeder, ask for references, ask to speak to their vet. Go with the breeder who will be there for you to answer questions, to support you, even if it is ten years down the road.
I wish you all the best in your search for a happy healthy pup
