He really did not show any symtoms until recently he torn up a puppy pad ended up at the vet due to excessive drooly and could not settle down. Was at the vet 3 days on IV antibiotics, anti-nausea meds. Had the bile acid test and was referred to Cornell where they did an additional test that confirmed the first test results. Somee of the symptoms are: drink alot of water, may be smaller than normal, have an enlarged liver, urinate more frequently, not as active as a dog without a shunt
